Planters Hay, Inc is full-service, grower-owned compress facility located in the Imperial Valley region of Southern California.
The Imperial Valley has over 500,000 acres of fertile farmland with a guaranteed year-round water supply. The Valley’s climate and plentiful sunshine make it perfectly suited to grow a variety of forage for 12 months. The Imperial Valley boasts the largest alfalfa-growing region in the world, with over 130,000 acres in production.
The location of Planters Hay is in close proximity to the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, making us the ideal choice for your pressing requirements. We handle all logistics to meet a client’s schedule and needs.
Planters Hay offers a variety of cut and wrap services for hay and straw commodities including Alfalfa, Sudan, Klein and Bermuda Grass.
Planters Hay, Inc was formed by a group of Imperial Valley farmers in 2010 as an outlet to move product grown in their fields. As a grower owned compress, Planters Hay is a one-stop shop that allows for customer needs to be carried out quickly and efficiently.
