About Us

We are located in El Centro, California. Both Patty McGrew and her daughter, Jennifer Thomason, are actively involved in all areas of the businesses.
Licensed in March 2006, the quality of service and the degree of professionalism of all of the employees has earned Heart and Hand the reputation of being “The place to live”.

We employ CNAs as well as home caregivers. Although we are a non-medical facility, every caregiver is well-trained, as well as screened. Each is bonded and insured, and is required to have a Federal and State background check, as well as drug screening, as a condition of employment. In our home we have both Private and Companion rooms available. Situated on 1 acre, the house and gardens are a welcome respite for our Residents. The covered patios offer them the opportunity to dine outside or just relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
